I am a fan of The Body Shop. I love their shower gels, lotions, and body mists! I also tried different skin care items, and I have found one of the facial creams as my holy grails (?). The Body Shop turned 18 years old this year, 18 years of cruelty-free beauty! Because of that, a huge SALE was held! I did not let this sale pass. Buy 1, Take 1 deals? OMG!!! It lasted from May 15-18. If you missed it, don’t worry, they always go on sale. 😀
Moving on, I grabbed some makeup and skin care items. It did make a slight dent on my wallet, but I still had a great deal. Let me show you what I got!
The Body Shop Shimmer Waves in Coral (Php 1,295) has five shimmering shades for face and cheeks in one neat compact. This is my second shade of this compact. The first one I got was the bronze shade, and I still want the blush shade! Hehe. I bought this shade because I was impressed with the bronze shade. I used it as an eyeshadow, and it stayed all day without creasing! (or maybe because my MAC Paint Pot in Soft Ochre helped too.) I also used it on my cheeks, and it stayed the whole day! I am very pleased with how soft, buttery and long-lasting it is, plus the whole compact contains 8.5g of product. This will definitely lasts a long time.
The Body Shop Baked-to-Last Blush in Petal (Php 1,195) is a spherical powder that creates a natural- looking complexion with rich blend of oils and “clays”, including marula oil, promote longer wear—up to 8 hours. I got this for FREE! Such a steal! I love baked blushes because they do not crumble easily, it gives a nice color payoff, and a little goes a long way! I have worn this in the office and I did not retouch at all. It is really long-lasting, and it gives a natural flush on my cheeks. I have a combination skin, but it did not make me oily or look like a disco ball. I love how it made my skin glow. 🙂
The Body Shop Tea Tree Cool and Creamy Wash (Php 395 + 1 FREE). These two are backups because I am currently using my second tube. It is a great product for me during days when I have some pimples or my face feels rough and dry. I love how it heals/minimizes pimples EASILY! I remembered when I had a huge zit near my lips, I used this and, the next day, the zit was gone! It is that good! I will continue to purchase this when I ran out. 🙂
The Body Shop Shea Body Mist (Php 595). I got this body mist for only Php 395. I love the Shea line. I have used up a bottle of the body wash and lotion. This is my first time to try this body mist and I already love it to bits! It is not a long-lasting perfume, but it definitely smells great. I feel relaxed when I smell this. The glass bottle is kind of bulky, but it’s ok with me.
The Body Shop Strawberry Shower Gel (Php 195). I got this for FREE! TBS is so generous whenever I purchase in their store. I have an LYB (Love Your Body) Membership card, so maybe, it’s one of the perks. I also received two stamps for purchasing a minimum of Php 1,800.
I am so pleased with everything that I got from them! I am eyeing a lot more but I have to put them on my wishlist for now.
Did you take advantage of The Body Shop 18th Anniversary Sale? Let me know what you got! 🙂
