theBalm CabanaBoy Shadow/Blush Swatches and Review!

As an installment of my earlier post, I also want to share this beautiful blush called CabanaBoy from theBalm as well. I can’t get enough of the vintage feel of the packaging. I know that even if I have tons of blushes in my collection, I need to have this! Lol. I have no regrets about all my theBalm purchases because they never fail to give me my money’s worth! Let’s start with the review.

THEBALM

With a “beauty in five minutes” philosophy, theBalm’s simple multi-use products have become its calling card, offering quick fixes and solutions for a range of beauty wants and needs. What began as mixing makeup in a kitchen with the help of how-to books has grown into a brand of wearable colours, anti-ageing formulas, finely milled pigments and fabulous scents.

What it is:

Turn heads with theBalm’s CabanaBoy shadow/blush which gives you that rosy flush in an instant. Be a sight to behold with its soft tones and subtle glimmer that lasts as long as you do. Great for that afternoon stroll at the park or that fun day at the beach, CabanaBoy will make you everyone’s darling anywhere, anytime.

What it does:

Its dusty rose colour enhances your cheeks and gives off that healthy looking appearance.
Smooth and fine texture makes it easy to put on.
Colour lasts long without the need for frequent touch-ups.

Price

This costs 940 pesos at BeautyMNL / 1,190 pesos at Sephora PH or at Beauty Bar PH for 925 pesos. This contains 9.9 grams.

Packaging

It is in a lightweight but sturdy cardboard packaging. It is easy to carry or travel with. It has a magnetic closure so the product won’t get damaged at all. I did not throw away the outside box that hugs the main product so that it won’t get dirty or even accidentally open inside my bag.

Quality

CabanaBoy suits all skin tones very well, especially, Morena! This blush has a rich pigment so it is easy to overapply. A single dip is enough for one cheek. It melts onto the skin and never looks powdery! I love that it looks like a healthy flush and too much actually looks like a sunburn. It is best to pair with rosy or pink lipsticks. This will look good on the eyes too!

Scent

No scent at all!

Longevity

This blush is long-lasting. I never have to retouch when I wear this. This can last up to 8 to 9 hours without fading. The quality is really incredible and it is not even that expensive, in my opinion.

Worth the Money?

YES! If you want a long-lasting, creamy, and sun-kissed flush, you should try theBalm CabanaBoy blush! A pan will last you a while, even a lifetime because it has a substantial amount of product and a little goes a long way.
