Céleteque DermoCosmetics provides anti-aging and skin nourishment in all its products. Céleteque knows that these are women’s prime concerns when it comes to caring for their skin.
I am so lucky to be invited to witness the launch of the Céleteque DermoCosmetics last October 9, 2015, at SM Makati. As a blogger, we were given a kit so that we can try all the makeup that they offer. Who doesn’t want free makeup and to get them all for free? I guess no one! Hehe.
On my last post, I shared all the information that you need to get the idea of what each makeup has to offer. Today, let me share a more in-depth review of the Céleteque DermoCosmetics Matte Lip Stick.
The long-wearing Céleteque DermoCosmetics Matte Lip Stick (P595.00) provides easy coverage and a pop of color while providing hydration for the lips. It glides easily on the lips and does not leave a waxy finish. Just like the Cheek Color Stick, the Matte Lip Stick is packed with Vitamin E and Bisabolol that nourish the lips and reduce suppleness while getting rid of flaky skin.
The packaging is a twist-up tube so sharpening is not needed. It has 2.4 grams of product. I love that the box has a manufacturing and expiration date and this can last up to three years from manufacturing date. All ingredient are also printed in the box.
The powerful skin care ingredients in this lipstick are:
- Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E) that moisturizes lips.
- Bisabolol that reduces flaking and restores suppleness.
- Candelilla Wax that nourishes the lips.
This lipstick is also dermatologist tested, and hypoallergenic!
There are three shades available in the market, and they are Cherry, Pink, and Peach. They said that they want to simplify the range so that we can easily choose what is best for our skin tone. The Pink shade will suit best on mestiza or fair-skinned people while Cherry and Peach for morena, or medium to tan skin tones.
The first thing I notice is that it has a very matte texture. Therefore, it is not dry lips friendly as you see on my swatches above. It is best to exfoliate the lips first or apply a lip balm before wearing this lipstick. I like that is very pigmented even with one layer. It also doesn’t smell or taste anything which is awesome! It is also not sticky at all.
The Peach shade is bright, and might be too bright for medium to tan skin tones. It slightly tugs the lips when applied, and may accentuate lip lines. It can also transfer a teeny bit when drinking. Longevity is good because of its very matte texture.
I applied lip gloss over the matte lipstick and I think they blended well. You might like this texture more especially if you have dry to very dry lips.
Overall, I recommend this to ladies who wants the true matte texture. If you also love pigmented lipstick and lipsticks without taste or scent then this is for you. The price is a bit high for a drugstore product but if you think about the skin care benefits, then I think that it is worth it. Will I repurchase? Yes, but I want to try the Cherry shade because I think it will best suit my skin tone.
