Drugstore Finds: Rucy’s Vanity Water Proof Liquid Eyeliner Review!

Rucy's Vanity Eyeliner (7)

HAPPY FRIDAY!!! I love Friday because it means tomorrow’s going to be the weekend!!! It is like the preview to a great movie. Speaking of a movie, have you seen Inside Out yet? I hope so because I LOVE IT! Didn’t realize that I will tear up and be so touched watching a cartoon. Pixar did a great job!

Today, let me share another affordable makeup and it is the Rucy’s Vanity Water Proof Liquid Eyeliner. This eyeliner costs only P160.00 and available at rucysvanityph.com!.

Rucy’s Vanity is a 100% Korean cosmetics brand that offers a wide range of high-quality Korean skincare and cosmetic products for both men and women. Because of the direct import, reduced packaging cost, low marketing & advertising cost, Rucy’s Vanity has made its way to the Philippine market as an affordable Korean cosmetic brand to tell the excellence of Korean products gain the foothold in the market or industry. This brand has started in the Philippine market and now trying to expand our market in different Asian countries.

All products are certified from the Korea Food and Drug Administration and Philippine Food and Drug Administration (FDA). We are confident that our products will be loved and patronized by the Filipino consumers.

Rucy’s Vanity is a very affordable brand, but their products are top-notch! I have reviewed their Rucy’s Vanity Gleamy Lipstick in Dark Red if you haven’t read that yet.

Let’s begin!

Rucy's Vanity Eyeliner (3)

Packaging is a simple screw cap tube with a brush tip. I love that the tip is very thin thus allowing me to apply the eyeliner as thin as possible. It also allows me to apply it as close to my lash line as possible to make my eyes very defined. If you want a subtle definition, this will be a good product.

I am actually more into pencil eyeliner or pencil brush tip eyeliner and I find that this eyeliner needs to be applied more carefully so that the lines will be straighter and finer. It takes a little time to get used to but it really isn’t a big issue for me.

This is what the swatches look like when freshly applied. It takes a bit of time to dry up, like a minute or two, but when it does, it doesn’t budge! If I move the brush tip lightly, I can have the tiniest or finest line, but if I drag it a bit more, the lines become thicker.

Rucy's Vanity Eyeliner (5)

It dries to a matte finish and the pigmentation is very black! I do like matte or glossy finishes, but matte seems to be most people’s favorite so that’s a plus!

Rucy's Vanity Eyeliner (6)

For the smudge test, I rubbed these liners very hard for about 8-10 times and as you can see, they held up pretty well. So if you’re not going to rub your eyes so hard, then you’re eyeliner’s safe. Lol!

Rucy's Vanity Eyeliner (2)

This picture was taken after 10 hours of wearing this eyeliner. It stayed there without smudging even the wings! The wings are usually smudged or gone at the end of the day on me because I usually have watery eyes or my oils mix with it. This eyeliner really impressed me!

For P160.00 pesos, this eyeliner is definitely a steal. I highly recommend it to all of us who want to be beautiful but prefer great quality but budget-friendly makeup!
