Makeup doesn’t need to be high-end or expensive to apply beautifully on the face. A drugstore makeup product can look well blended, seamless, flawless, and radiant if the makeup artist knows what he is doing! Yes, you need skills too to apply makeup. I learned to apply my makeup by watching millions of tutorials, and reading a lot of magazines and blogs. I wear both drugstore and high-end makeup especially if these products are recommended by my favorite makeup gurus.
Today’s post is inspired by the recent wedding of Toni Gonzaga and Paul Soriano. Toni definitely looked so flawless and radiant! It was amazing to know that her makeup artist used mostly drugstore makeup to make her look so pretty. I attempted to recreate her makeup using drugstore products too!
The makeup I did was quick and easy! From the itsjudytime eyeshadow palette, I used the rose gold shade (bottom first shade) all over my eyelids and lower lids, and then I blended the crease with the light brown matte shade (top second shade). I deepened the outer crease with the deep brown shade (top fifth shade) to have a cut-crease like effect. I added the Mary Lou-manizer over the middle of the eyelid to make it more stand out. I added a cat-eyeliner using Heroine Make eyeliner because I love how it looks great on my eyes, and then loaded my lashes with the Maybelline Hypercurl Volum’ Express Waterproof Mascara, just like what Toni wore!
On my lips is the L.A. Girl Matte Flat Finish Pigment Gloss in Fleur. This shade is very pretty especially on similar skin tones like I have. It wears evenly, and lasts a long time even when eating or drinking!
What do you think of this look? Hope you liked it!
