Last Saturday, I went to the Offline Blog Sale of my favorite beauty bloggers, Vee, Tellie, Bea, Shari, Rae, Pat and Hazel at CrepeMan Cafe. I missed Hazel, because I left early. A lot of items were up for grab at very discounted prices! The prices of high-end brands were even less than a thousand bucks!
I was able to quickly browse through their stuff, and ended up buying three items. I may have purchased more, but I don’t carry a lot of cash. (Wasn’t able to ask if the items are payable when able? Haha!) I didn’t stay too long because Mr. Man was with me and I don’t want to keep him waiting.
Anyway, I love the stuff that I got below.
The Bobbi Brown lipstick in True Pink costed only Php 500! The Jo Malone Cologne was Php 600, and the Girl Stuff Nail polish was Php 50. They plan to sell the unsold items online to allow others who were not able to come to buy the rest of the stuff. I will surely check again! Hehe.
Sunday came, and I have another event to attend. It’s the BDJ Box Beauty Social Camp Gorgeous at SM North Edsa Sky Dome. I got a free seat on the first two talks. The first talk was with the BDJ Beauty Ministers.
There are no more seats left so I stayed at the back. The beauty ministers answered several questions about beauty, skin care, life, etc.
The next talk was with Professional Makeup Artist of Shu Uemura, Mr. Patrick Alcober. He discussed about how to BE BOLD, BE EDGY with Shu Uemura.
Bumped into Yette and Genzel!
Mr. Patrick taught us some techniques on how to create a smokey-eye look. He also showed how to mix and match different eye pencil shades to create a natural look, a dramatic look, and a playful look.
He also taught how contouring makes a difference to chubby cheeks (like mine!). Hehe. He surely transformed the model’s look, from natural to fab! How I wish that I can create my smokey-eye look without looking beat up! Haha!
I really had fun during the talk and learned some new techniques.
After the talk we were given a loot bag filled with samples, vouchers, and a magazine.
So those are all the happenings last weekend. This Saturday, September 20, I will be at Liz’ (Project Vanity) Watercolor workshop, and I am so excited! I will be with my sister, Dre and my friends, Mela and Rae! I am so looking forward for another fun-filled weekend!
