Skin Food has been here in the Philippines for years, even when other Korean brands, such as Etude House, Tony Moly, Nature Republic, etc. were not yet that famous. I never bought anything from them because I find that their products are quite expensive.
After I bought some new items from Tony Moly, I decided to visit Skin Food to check out the Salmon Darkcircle Concealer Cream. I have read a lot of raves about it. Luckily, it was on sale! From Php 950, the price went down to Php 675. If you do a search on eBay, or on online Korean shops, the price is half of what they sell it for here. It is expensive, but it contains a lot of product. 10g to be exact. I doubt that I will be able to use this up in a year.
There are two shades available: #1 Blooming Light Beige, and #2 Salmon Beige.
What it is:
A dark circle concealer cream with Salmon Oil that effectively conceals dark circles while promoting brighter, softer skin. The highly concentrated formula applies like a second skin and stays put without clumping, no matter how many layers you apply.
To use:
After applying foundation, dispense an adequate amount and then gently tap onto dark circles around the eyes.
I got shade #2.
Swatched
I use my Real Techniques Foundation Brush or my fingers to apply. They both give me the coverage I want.
Here is the final result!
Just one layer, and it significantly covered and brightened my dark circles! Just like other brighteners and concealers, I would set it with powder to avoid creasing, because by itself, it will definitely crease because of its creamy texture, but it is not as creamy as lotion, it is a thick cream. I read that there is a matching Salmon Powder for this, so I will check that out. 😀
It is worth the price for me, and I recommend it! Have you tried this yet? Share!
See you on my next post!
Stay Gorgeous! :-*
