Yesterday, my November Saladbox has arrived! I was really looking forward for my second box. I subscribed to the Starter Kit, which is a two-month subscription, to somehow get a feel of how Saladbox works.
This post is just going to show what products are included. I must say, they are better than my first box, BUT, I only have some favorites. Not a two-thumbs up for me again.
I read a lot of beauty blogs and I stumbled upon this tag from Nicole. Some easy questions about how I love makeup.
1. Blush or Bronzer?
Blush. It adds life to my pale face. I also use Bronzer to contour my big face. lol
2. Lipgloss or Lipstick?
Lipgloss. I like it because it adds more moisture and just to make my face look simple.
3. Chapstick or Lip butter?
Lip butter. Lip butters such as Revlon’s are one of the best. I owned Chapsticks when I was younger. I also don’t have much problems with chapped lips too.
4. Matte or Sparkle Eyeshadow?
Matte. Just to make my face look simple. Natural beauty is still better.
5. Gel, Liquid, Cream or Pencil Liner?
Pencil Liner. It is easy to carry around.
6. Foundation or Concealer?
Concealer. I have to hide my undereye circles! I don’t need full coverage because I don’t have much blemishes on my face.
7. Liquid or Powder Foundation?
Liquid. I don’t really have a powder one.
8. Neutral or Statement eye?
Neutral. Simplicity is beauty. But I don’t mind making a statement sometimes. lol
9. Pressed or Loose shadows?
Pressed. It is easier to use.
10. Waterproof or Non Waterproof?
Waterproof. I have oily skin and makeup tends to smudge.
10. Brushes, Sponges or Fingers?
Fingers. I am used to it, but, of course, I would love to learn more how to use the brushes and sponge.
11. Powder, Cream or Liquid Highlighters?
Powder. I rarely highlight.
I tag everyone to do this!
Let me know if you do the tag, so I can check it out!
Thanks for reading!
As my readers already know, I have been obsessing about makeup! LOL. I usually post pictures when I play around with them. I am planning to create another blog for my makeup compilations, or maybe, I will just post it here.
Anyway… I just want to give you an idea of the Virginia Olsen Eyeshadows I got from my first Saladbox. I applied it on my eyes, without any primers. I readily applied it right after I unboxed it. LOL!
During my free time, I usually read a lot of blogs, and of course, they are beauty blogs! Hihi. I get a lot of emails because I usually subscribe, and I don’t want to miss any of their new posts!
Last September, if I recall correctly, there was a rave about a subscription box here in the Philippines. It is called, Saladbox. I went to their website and joined.
To get the feel of how it works, I got the two-month subscription starter kit. My first box came last October. I got about five different products inside.
