FOTD: Purple Eyes & Nude Lips

I am feeling guilty that I’ve been slacking off this entire week, and I feel uneasy that I don’t have any posts to share today. I know not everyone follows me on my Instagram where I post most of my #fotd and #eotd. (fotd=face of the day; eotd= eye of the day) 😀 So today, I decided to share one of my makeup looks that gained more likes than I expected. Hehe. I feel glad that someone likes what I come up with whenever I play with my makeup. 🙂

Here is the look:

Look2The products I used for my eyes were the Maybelline Eye Studio Color Tattoo 24HR Cream Gel Shadow in Tough as Taupe as base. I used the L’Oreal Infallible Eyeshadow in Perpetual Purple all over my eyelids. I blended the edges and crease using Faint from the Urban Decay Naked Basics Palette, and then I applied the Avon Glimmersticks Eye Liner in Majestic Plum closest to my upper lashes, and half-way on my outer bottom lashline. To highlight, I think I used the Mary Lou-Manizer from theBalm.

I can’t remember what face base I used here, but I am pretty sure it is the Covergirl Outlast Stay Fabulous foundation. I did the same eyebrow routine I posted last week. For the cheeks, it could be one of those blushes from the Tarte Off the Cuff Cheek Palette. For my lips, I applied Clinique Chubby Stick Intense Moisturizing Lip Colour Balm in Curviest Caramel.

I really love experimenting and playing with my makeup. I don’t want them to be covered with dusts and be on display the entire time. It also helps me to hone my skills in applying them. I wanted to use colored eyeshadows more often so that I won’t always look safe, and neutral.

Here is another shot: hashtag selfie.

Look1I hope you liked this look, and let me know if you have any suggestions or tips in applying colored eyeshadows, or anything in general. I love to read your comments!

Until next time! 🙂
