I have never been THIS excited unboxing a subscription box in my whole blogging existence, REALLY! After I received the email from BDJBox that they will be releasing a Luxe box containing Shu Uemura products, I gasped and did not think twice of reserving mine. The box is Php 15,000 worth of products for only Php 4,280. It is kind of steep, but since I have not tried anything from their brand, I feel like it is a good price to start indulging myself with their products. The box is full of beauty and skin care products. The best part is that it includes four full-sized products, and lots of deluxe products that are generous in size. Once upon a time, I stumbled upon a makeup store while strolling around Glorietta Mall. This is yet again a massive impulse buy! I am so weak from this kind of temptation. I just wanted to get the NARS Laguna Bronzer, but I ended up getting MORE!
Please do not judge me! 🙂
The Sales Associate was very, very convincing, (and pleasant, btw!) because she made me purchase Php 5,000 worth of makeup to get a freebie. The NARS Firming Foundation, worth Php 2,750! Oh my! What a deal! So, I gave in. Tsk! Tsk!
Anyway, I didn’t feel guilty at all because I was so ecstatic! It was my very first purchase from NARS. I am not rich, I admit it. 😛
This was my haul:
NARS The Happening Palette, Php 3,750
NARS Satin Lip Pencil in Lodhi, Php 1,450
and FREE NARS Firming Foundation in Syracuse, Php 2,750.
Here are some Instagram shots using the Palette:
I am so impressed with all these three products especially the free foundation! High end products that are very worth the bucks!
Stay tuned for more updates!
Thanks for dropping by!
Yesterday, my November Saladbox has arrived! I was really looking forward for my second box. I subscribed to the Starter Kit, which is a two-month subscription, to somehow get a feel of how Saladbox works.
This post is just going to show what products are included. I must say, they are better than my first box, BUT, I only have some favorites. Not a two-thumbs up for me again.
Last June 5, Fritz and I went to Laxare (Lak-sa-rey) Day Spa at SM North, to get a massage. It is our first time, and so I made a research on what type of massage we should try before we actually go there. One website said a Swedish massage is recommended for newbies like us.
When we arrive, we were offered a promo, Massage plus Foot spa package, worth 950 pesos each. The Swedish massage alone costs 450, if I recall correctly. We were offered drinks before we get started. It is a choice of hot or iced tea. I think they serve coffee as well.
We had foot spa first. I think the price is worth it, compared to one spa that I usually go to, that offers foot spa alone for about 600++. The girl applied several lotions, and scrubs on my feet and legs. I remember she said it has whitening ingredients, and it feels cool, because the lotion has some peppermint components. It also comes with a pedicure, and you can choose to put nail polish.
