PERIPERA Airy Ink Velvet in ELF LIGHT ROSE – Review and Swatches!

I lost count on how many lip tints that I have tried but there are a few that really stand out such as Peripera products. Let me review the first one, the Airy Ink Velvets. I have two shades and both of them work the same. I do not plan to get all the shades because I know that I won’t be able to finish them before I get sucked into buying new products again. After all, there are tons of swatches online, so all we have to do is Google search! Hihi. So let’s begin!

PERIPERA Airy Ink Velvet lip tint glides on smoothly, offering vivid color and a soft, velvety texture to your lips. The enriched formula keeps your lips moist and glossy without feeling sticky.

How to Use: Apply a moderate amount to the center of your lips and gently spread outwards.

I would love to buy all the shades but they don’t necessarily look the same in person as their swatches so what I did was try one shade first to know if it suits me. I also bought it only from a trusted seller because there are a lot of fakes being sold everywhere. I don’t buy and support fake products because of health and sanitary reasons.

Price

I bought this from shopee.ph for 420 pesos. This retails for 450 pesos at Club Clio Stores in the Philippines. In Korea, I believe they are 7,000 won each. These tints sell for as low as 300 pesos in the shopee app so it is best to search for the great deals first before buying.

Packaging
It’s a cute twist up tube. It is lightweight, does not feel cheap, and it closes tightly. The shade kind of peeks through the bottle since it is like a transparent frosted plastic bottle. The applicator is shaped like a doe foot and it has a hole in the middle which aids in making the lip tint lightweight by allowing air to pass through.

Texture

The texture is very lightweight. It feels like a very soft and smooth velvet on the lips. It feels slippery at first and then sets to a velvet finish. This tint is not completely kiss-proof or transfer-proof but it stays for a long time on my lips. The shine goes away after a few minutes leaving a more natural look. It is also pigmented on one swipe!

Scent

I don’t mind scents in products but, I find that this tint has a strong perfume scent. I can even taste it after application. The lipstick performs really well but the scent is a downer. I think this is one of the main reasons that I don’t want to buy more.

Longevity
Could last even after a meal with slight fading. It leaves a tint underneath.

Do I recommend them?
Yes. If you don’t care about the scent then this is a great product. It is lightweight, pigmented, non-drying, and affordable too. All the shades are wearable and the new shades are so nice.

That’s all for now! Let me know if you’ve tried this lip tint in the comment section below.

Last December, i promised myself to get the Elf Light Rose shade. I have seen swatches of it and it looks nice and i thought it will complement my skintone. But i have so many things to prioritize and school activities of my daughter that needs to be paid for so i still haven’t bought the tint yet.
Ang hindi ko alam tungkol dito ay yun scent. Sobrang bango pala nito?

I got this exact shade as a gift and it was love at first swipe! I don’t usually like hyped products because they tend to disappoint me(in my experience) but I liked this one. I wasn’t planning on trying this because I think the price was a bit on the expensive side for a lip tint, plus I’ve heard of negative reviews when these was first released. Personally, I don’t mind the scent(in fact I like it haha is that weird?), but the taste does bother me a bit. Fortunately it goes away after it dries!
