BLK Cosmetics Long-Lasting Liquid Matte Lipsticks Review & Swatches – ALL SHADES!

Am I too late for this review? Lol. I won’t tell my reasons anymore but just go on with my review. The BLK Cosmetics launch was big and everyone talked about it because it is Anne Curtis’ makeup line.

Today, let me show you all the shades of their liquid lipsticks. I read and heard different reviews about this line but I guess my opinion still matters, right? 😉 I am in fact, a lipstick junkie so I know if the product is good. Anyway, enough with the intro and let’s get down to business!

What is BLK Cosmetics Long-Lasting Liquid Matte Lipsticks?

It’s matte magic. Treat your lips to the most comfortable matte lippie ever: The color payoff is beyond intense, the mousse texture dries to a freshly blotted look with a soft matte finish—never tight or drying, thanks to hydrating Vitamin E and softening rosehip seed oil—and the pigment stays put all day long. The only problem you’ll face: Choosing which color to wear today. Active Ingredient: Rose Hip Seed Oil/ Vitamin E

There are five shades for this line: Simple (soft nude), Sophisticated (warm nude), Sassy (dusty rose), Brazen (bold red), Bold (burgundy). I love that there’s a shade for everyone. They flatter most skin tones and very Pinay/Pinoy friendly!

Price
These liquid lipsticks cost 349 pesos each.

Packaging

Packaging is pretty and chic. I find it classy and artsy too. Each tube is not too heavy nor made of cheap plastic. It closes tightly and there is a sticker underneath that shows the details of the product.

Simple (soft nude) – I find it to be light for my skin tone. This will really look great on light and fair skin people.

Sophisticated (warm nude) – It looks a bit peachy in person but suits all skin tones.

Sassy (dusty rose) – Such a pretty shade. This is Anne Curtis’ fave, I guess because she wore this on the posters. I personally like this shade the most too.

Brazen (bold red) – I love reds! This shade is my next favorite. It really brightens the face and looks so classy and sexy!

Bold (burgundy) – This shade is also one of my faves. It is tricky to apply but overall nice on the lips.

Texture

It has a creamy texture and the pigmentation is superb! It is very easy to apply and does not set quickly. It feels comfortable on the lips and I don’t feel my lips drying nor cracking. Even if I don’t exfoliate my lips, it does not emphasize the lines or dry flakes too much.

Scent
No scent at all. 🙂

Longevity

It is long-lasting. It does not transfer on my coffee cup and will still last a meal. Oil will definitely break it down like most lipsticks. There will still be some lipstick left but reapplication is still recommended after meals.

Do I recommend them?

Yes. Honestly, these are a lot better than Vice Ganda liquid lipsticks. LOLs. If you want a comfortable, matte and long-lasting lipsticks then these are worth buying!

Let me know if you have tried these liquid lipsticks! Until next time!
