One of the local brands that have the best collaborations is Happy Skin Cosmetics. They always capture the hearts (and wallets!) of beauty lovers like me. Recently, I watched the movie, Beauty and the Beast, and loved it so much! I was seven years old when I first watched the cartoon movie. It was really a throwback moment for me, and I did cry on some parts of the movie. Lols. Watch it if you still can!
Today, let me share the latest collab with Happy Skin. From the title, yes, this is the liquid matte lipstick. They do have other makeup products with this theme, but the liquid lipstick is the one who called my name out loud.
Happy Skin X Disney Beauty and the Beast is a limited edition makeup collection that celebrates independence and inner beauty. Dream big and celebrate the princess within you! A princess is always ready for enchanting adventures. Be bold and brave and swipe on this rose hue.
PHP 699.00 (4.5 ml)
The Happy Skin X Disney Beauty And The Beast Moisturizing Matte Lip Kit In Rose is also available for PHP 1,199.00. It comes with a lip pencil.
The packaging is similar to the rest of their liquid lipsticks, and the same doe foot applicator comes in it. The doe foot applicator is soft and can apply the lipstick precisely.
My arm swatch looks a little warmer due to lighting, but it is 99.99% accurate. It looks so nice and this shade will fit all skin tones! The lipstick consistency is mousse-y and a little goes a long way! It is very pigmented. One layer is enough for me to get the pigmentation that I want. Upon application, the formula transforms into a soft, velvety matte finish. It will be transfer and kiss proof!
Eating and drinking would cause the lipstick to fade a bit, usually in the inner parts, but overall, this is very long-wearing. It does not cause my lips to dry and flake, but I recommend to exfoliate the lips and prep it with lip balm before application. Lip balms don’t usually change the texture of liquid lipsticks on me. One minor thing that I can think of about this shade is that I have some liquid lipsticks that look similar to this such as Colourpop Frick n’ Frack, Colourpop November, and Calypso. I am not complaining because “the more the merrier”. Lols! Would I recommend? Yes!
Let me know if you have tried this, and your thoughts about it.
