Ever since I’ve been to South Korea, I got super obsessed with Korean cosmetics or Korean Makeup and Korean Skin Care! I even love a few K-pop idols like Got7! I watched Got7’s concert last year. It was my first time to watch a Korean artist live! Hihi. I also love watching Korean dramas, and of course, The Return of Superman! My sister, Dre (Sporadic Reads) is my biggest influence. I even love to browse Korean cosmetics online shops and understand and speak some Korean words. lol!
I recently received two Korean skin care products from q-depot. They sent me the Tony Moly Red Appletox Honey cream and Tony Moly Pocket bunny Mist (review soon!) The Tony Moly Red Appletox Honey cream has 80 ml of product and costs about $15.30.
About the ProductBeing an AHA moisturizer, the Tony Moly Red Appletox Honey Cream is designed to moisturize and exfoliate the skin. the cream has a very rich gel-like texture to avoid stickiness and to offer effective oil control. It enhances skin elasticity, increases moisture, soothes skin problems, and boosts metabolism. The secret is the apple honey content that contains fructose and natural ingredients which helps increase metabolism, improve skin elasticity, and make skin tender. The mild apple acid is effective for skin cell renewal, while acting as an anti-oxidant.

This apple-shaped pot is just too adorable! I saw a similar packaging on our local Tony Moly store but it is the green apple one called Tony Moly Appletox Peeling Cream. Unfortunately, this Honey Cream is not available, so it will be a bit difficult to find. The pot comes with a spatula for hygiene purposes. I won’t lie to you that I sometimes just dip my clean fingers inside! Hehe.
I love the gel consistency because it is easier to spread on the face. I also love the mild apple scent. It feels and smells so relaxing when I apply this cream before I hit the sack. It takes some minutes to fully absorb. My skin really feels so soft and moisturized when it has fully absorbed, and when I wake up, my skin still feels moisturized and plump! It feels like baby skin, I swear! I would not recommend this under makeup because it may be too moisturizing.
I just really wish that it is widely available, nevertheless, if you are able to see this in stores, try it! It is one of the best face moisturizers that I have tried so far.
