Five Favorite Things

Hi, everyone! Hope you’re having a great week! I would like to start a series (again!) of my version of favorites post. I know a lot of bloggers write about them, and I personally love reading about favorites, so this time, I would like to share what mine are. I won’t promise that this will be a weekly post because I just can’t keep up,  but hope that you’ll like them!

Favorite #1: Colorfy App

Colorfy

This is such a fun to do app. I love how you can color anytime using your phone or tablet. I am recently hooked with my coloring books for adults which started when my sister gifted me with the book The Mindfulness Colouring Book by Emma Farrarons. It may seem like a fad, but I like it anyway!

Favorite #2: Cheesecakes by Chef Jac Laudico
Cheesecakes

SM North Edsa had a cheesecake exhibit for a month, and I got to try different flavors of Chef Jac’s cheesecakes. I can’t pick a favorite because all of them are really rich in flavor and are really worth the price! I was able to taste the blueberry cheesecake, strawberry cheesecake, and mango cheesecake above. If you spot them, indulge!

Favorite #3: Chia Seeds

Chia Seeds

I just can’t get enough of Chia Seeds!

Chia seeds are tiny black seeds from the plant Salvia Hispanica, which is related to the mint. This plant grows natively in South America. Chia seeds were an important food for the Aztecs and Mayans back in the day. They prized them for their ability to provide sustainable energy… in fact, “chia” is the ancient Mayan word for “strength.” Despite their ancient history as a dietary staple only recently did chia seeds become recognized as a modern day superfood. In the past few years, they have exploded in popularity and are now consumed by health conscious people all over the world. Source

I usually add them on my tea or juice. After 30 minutes or so, it turns into a jelly-like texture (like sago or boba!). I can’t wait to make a pudding with Chia Seeds. Have you tried them?

Favorite #4: The Notebook

I watched The Notebook again on iflix. This movie is really worth your two hours especially if you love romantic and inspiring movies. Don’t forget your tissue because this movie will really make your eyes burn! Lol! Very inspiring and sweet. Please watch it!

Favorite #5: Oslob Whale Shark Watching Experience!

Juvy with Butanding

I just got home from a weekend in Cebu City, Philippines. I got a chance to see and swim with the gentle giants of the sea called Whale Shark or Butanding. They are found in  Tan-awan Oslob Cebu Philippines which is about two hours away from the city proper. The interaction is about thirty minutes. All thanks to my husband for gifting me a GoPro so that I can take this wonderful experience!

So these are all my recent favorites. I would love to know yours!

Have a blessed day as always!
