Hello everyone! I miss blogging a lot! I am so happy to have the time last weekend to snap a lot of photos and I am so excited to share all the items that I have enjoyed using for some time now.

Due to a lot of requests, I am now reviewing this Maybelline Fit Me Concealer that I bought from bonmarchepage.com. Unfortunately, this is not available locally yet, but I really hope it will. Hope that you’ll be able to buy this through different online shops or pre-order it from Instagram sellers.

I rarely review base products, and I think I only reviewed one concealer here. Maybe because it is really hard to review them because I have to consider a lot of factors like skin type, coverage preference, and all that stuff. Anyway, let’s now go on with my review.

Maybelline Fit Me Concealer in Sand

Why You’ll Love It

It’s makeup that doesn’t mess with you.

This concealer has 6.8 ml amount of product and Made in U.S.A. I love that it has a doe-foot applicator because it can be easily applied on the areas that I want to hide.

According to the Maybelline website, there are six shades to choose from. I got Sand, which is the fourth shade. Due to limited shades, you might need to mix them to get your best shade match. Sand is actually lighter than my skin tone, but since I use it under the eye, I love that it brightens it without looking over the top.

For me, this concealer is medium to full coverage. As you can see below, it was able to cover my dark circle with just one layer. I rarely do two or more layers under my eye because I still want my face to look more natural. A little darkness won’t hurt.MAYBELLINE FIT ME CONCEALERPicture 1 shows my under eye without any products. I don’t have a severe dark under eye circle, but I love to cover it so that I can look fresher and more awake. Picture 3 shows one layer. I can still see some darkness peeking through, so I added another layer on Picture 4. Picture 5 completely concealed the darkness. I like setting my under eyes with powder so I used my Ben Nye Banana Powder on Picture 6. I think I applied too much powder because it emphasized my lines and it made my under eyes too yellow. Next time, I will only pat less powder so that it won’t crease like that.

MAYBELLINE FIT ME CONCEALER BEFORE AND AFTER

The longevity of this concealer is pretty good because I don’t remember reapplying it when I wore it on a full day at work. I think it really helps when you set it properly, and if you prep the under eye before applying any products. I usually use an eye cream before starting to apply any concealers. Keeping the under eye well-moisturized really helps prolong the makeup put over it.

They say that this concealer is comparable to the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer. For me, the Maybelline Fit Me Concealer has a thinner consistency and less coverage. I will choose Maybelline over NARS because of its cheaper price tag! So far, I am loving this concealer, but since it is not locally available, I don’t think I will repurchase when I ran out. There are still a lot of great concealers available in the market. It is still worth a try for me, and it killed my curiosity about it.
