FOTD: Gold Shower!

FOTD Gold Shower (8)

I’ve been thinking so much about what I want in my life. I am so jealous of people who live their lives to the fullest each day because they love what they do, and even get paid for it! I don’t want to spread negativity but why can’t we all live that way, right? It’s easier said than done. My blog actually serves as my stress-reliever because I am writing about beautiful things, and I love meeting people who think alike.

While some people do “smoking (yosi) breaks” at work, mine is actually spent doing my makeup. I usually go to work with my face base on, then I finish the rest of my makeup at work. Most of my eye looks are done at work. Lol. Good thing I work in a relaxed environment. Even so, I still make sure that it doesn’t affect my work productivity. I do hope so!

Anyway, today’s star of the show is my 3CE One Color Shadow Sparkling in Gold Shower. I actually got this shade first before Venus which I recently just reviewed here on my blog. Because I have a warm, medium skin tone, the eyeshadow colors that work best for me are gold, bronze, brown, copper and other similar warm shades. I still use cool-toned shades sometimes because why not? 🙂

Below are the products that I used to complete my eye look:

I applied my 3CE Glam Cream Shadow in Smoky Gray all over my eyelids as a base. Then, I applied the 3CE One Color Shadow Sparkling in Gold Shower over it. On my crease, I blended a bit of the warm brown shade from essence. On my brow bone, I mixed Foxy and Venus from the Urban Decay Naked Basics palette. I used my Majolica Majorca Perfect Automatic Liner in GD 802 on my upper lash line to define my eyes more, and on my waterline, I used the Eye of Horus Goddess Pencil in Nubian Brown. I smudged the Eye of Horus Goddess Pencil in Serpentine Sultry all over my lower lashes and topped it off with a brown shade from my Wet N’ Wild eyeshadow trio in Sweet As Candy. I also used the white shade from the same palette on my inner tear ducts as highlight. I used Benefit Cosmetics They’re Real Mascara on my top and bottom eyelashes.

Here is a close up of the eye look. The Gold Shower actually looked greenish over the gray cream shadow. I actually liked that it toned the sparkles down a bit to make it look more wearable.

I wore Happy Skin Cosmetics Shut Up and Kiss Me Lippies in Style Icon with a bit of Maybelline Lip Polish in Glam 13 on top.

Ako din naiinggit sa mga taong super happy sa work nila pero I also get inspired looking at their works!

You’re so adept at making shadows foiled. *Jealous!* But at least your break time activity is less hazardous to the health. Hahaha. I should have done that back in college. Go to school with base and a little blush, then add as the day goes on. Honestly, I was too lazy back then.

The eyeshadow is really sparkly but sometimes I use a wet brush to intensify them. Back then, I only wear powder, lip balm or lipstick. My extreme makeup addiction started only maybe 3 years ago. Hehe.

It’s really hard to commute with a makeup before going to work. :)) It’s summer pa.
Sometimes I’m bit shy to wear eye makeup inside office because most of them always notice ‘I have a makeup’. Most girls kasi samin not much into makeups haha!
I like to wear gold ones too!

I felt this way for a very long time. Until nagsawa ako sa kakaisip. I thought, konti lang naman talaga yung nababayaran for doing what they like. Tapos wala din akong serious passion for something else. Or talent to do whateverelse.
Anyway, I really like style icon on you.
