Sleek Makeup i-Divine Palette in Sunset Review and Swatches

Sleek I-Divine Sunset Palette (3)

Good day, Ladies! I am trying to catch up on my eyeshadow palette reviews, so today, it’s all about my Sleek Makeup i-Divine Palette in Sunset which I got from Luxola. I bought this palette because I got particularly drawn on the orange and blue shades! They are so beautiful! Also, all the other shades on this palette are definitely wearable anytime of the year!

Sleek eyeshadows are of great quality in my opinion, and they offer a diverse range — mattes, neutrals, brights, smokey and a lot more. I have reviewed the Sleek Makeup Ultra Mattes V2 Darks before, if you want to check that out!

Let’s now take a look at the Sunset Palette!

Sleek I-Divine Sunset Palette (2)

The packaging is a slim and sturdy plastic material with mirror, similar to all their other palettes. There are 12 shades, and it does not have names on each shade unlike their other palettes.

THE SWATCHES

Sleek Sunset Palette Swatches 2

These swatches are fuzzy. ‘Twas a cloudy day then but hope that’s alright.

TOP ROW: (L-R) Matte Black / Red with orange undertones / Copper with brown undertones / Tangerine Orange / Yellow Gold / Cool Blue with Silver shimmer

BOTTOM ROW: (L-R) Burgundy with coppery undertones / Coppery Red / Rusty Orange-brown with golden shimmer / Light Copper with gold shimmer / Rose gold / Light medium pink with yellow undertones.

I swatched them twice to get the maximum opaqueness for the sake of the photo, but one swipe is really enough to get a good color payoff. The texture of each eyeshadow is smooth, and blendable. Though some shades are glittery or metallic, I didn’t notice any grittiness when I swatched them on my arm.

I used this palette last Christmas, but I only came up with a simple look. I only used two eyeshadows from the bunch. I will surely make more looks soon.

I believe I used Copper with brown undertones over the crease, and then the Light Copper with gold shimmer all over my lids and under my eyes. I used a matte white eyeshadow (Nougat) as highlight over the brow bone, and a matte yellow-y shade (Honeycomb) to blend over the crease. The last two shades were both from the Sleek MakeUP Au Naturel Palette. (Review Soon!) It’s really easy to pair colors using this palette. Since it was a holiday, I really didn’t mind if my eyeshadows were sparkling! 🙂

The eyeshadows definitely have a good staying power with or without primer, but I recommend that you still use a primer so that the color will stand out. I would totally recommend this palette if you love some shimmer and glimmer on. It’s definitely worth a try!

Hope that this post helped! If you have questions, feel free to leave me some comments below!

Happy Long Weekend! 🙂
