Gasp! I swear that I got so excited upon seeing an Instagram post that this month’s BDJ Box was Covergirl Exclusive! Covergirl is close to my heart because it is the first brand that got me into wearing concealers. I am now on my third tube of their TruBlend concealer #4. I also love their Outlast Stay Fabulous 3-in-1 Foundation which really lives up to its claims that it is a primer, concealer and foundation in one!
Hey, it’s Katy Perry! I love her music so much. She really fits to be the “cover girl” for this brand because she’s so stunning!
Enough rambling, let’s now see what are inside!
The first item is the TruBlend Liquid Makeup in Buff Beige (Php 645, 30 ml). Thankfully, this shade fits my skin tone perfectly! Covergirl tends to oxidize on my skin so even if it looks lighter at first, it will blend well after it sets. This has a great staying power! This performs similar to the Outlast Stay Fabulous 3-in-1 Foundation but more lightweight on my skin. This is actually my second bottle. The first one was my prize from Martha, thebeautyjunkee. I actually haven’t used much of the first one yet. This might be given as a gift! Who knows? 🙂
To go with the foundation, we have the TruBlend Pressed Powder (Php 425, 11 g) in the shade Light. It promises to adapt perfectly on my skin tone so I guess I don’t have to worry about the shade. Hopefully, I wouldn’t look like a Geisha when I apply this on. Hihi.
Another blush!!! I got the Covergirl Cheekers Blush in Peach (Php 395, 3 g). This is a BDJ Box Exclusive because it will be available in stores by February 2015! It is a portable mini-compact that gives subtle highlights that goes on natural for hours. I am so happy to have another blush in my collection, and I can’t wait to try this on.
The Liquiline Blast Eye Pencil (Php 450, 9.5 g) has a high-pigment formula and built-in smudger to give intensity and staying power for the eyes. The smudger is going to be useful especially if I don’t have a brush to blend it. Though I have a lot of eyeliners, I can only name a few that last long on my eyelids and waterline. Hopefully, this one will perform well.
Last but not the least, the LashBlast Length Mascara in Blackest Black (Php 450, 6.5 ml). It promises a flake-free application that gives a full lash coverage for bold, noticeable lashes. It is also waterproof. I love Covergirl mascaras but they are just pretty hard to remove especially the waterproof ones. I reviewed my old tube HERE.
Those are all what’s inside my box. The total amount is Php 2,365 which is 4 x the subscription price of Php 580. I am pretty pleased with this month’s box because they are all makeup items from a nice brand. I am so looking forward for 2015 boxes!
What do you think of the December BDJ Box?
