Living in a tropical climate with only two seasons, summer & rainy, favors me to wear almost all the shades of lipsticks that I want. Today, I will be sharing one of my favorite bright lipsticks from Sleek.

Ever since I started to become interested in makeup, I have joined a lot of giveaways and , and I am so grateful that I have been lucky so many times already. One of the prizes that I won was this Sleek True Colour Lipstick in Fuchsia. It was a giveaway by Viel Fernandez of WildlyProfuse, a Filipina Youtube Vlogger! You should definitely check her videos out. Her UK accent is to die for, plus she is very talented and fun to watch.

The Sleek True Colour Lipstick line has 20 shades in matte and sheen finishes. They are highly pigmented, and conditioning to keep lips soft and supple. They are enriched with vitamin E that helps to hydrate and protect the lips.

Sleek makeup products are not available from our local counters here in the Philippines but you can buy from Luxola and Beautycorner.ph.

The Sleek True Colour Lipstick does not have the usual lipstick packaging. The tube is smaller, and the shape is oval. It is actually handy and doesn’t take too much space inside my purse.

The shade Fuchsia is a sheen hot pink. I thought that this color will not suit me well because it is bright and blue-based but I was surprised that it looked great on me. The pigmentation of this lipstick is good even though it is a sheen finish. A single layer will already give an even color on the lips. This lipstick applies smoothly on my lips and keeps it moisturized. The formula is thin, a bit like the Revlon Lip Butters.

Just like most of the sheen lipsticks, this one transfers, and will rub off after eating and drinking. The staying power is still pretty good and it will not travel outside the lip lines. I really don’t mind reapplying, so if it is not an issue for you, then go for it.

Is it worth it? Yes! But if you know me, you’ll know that I want to explore all the other brands out there. It was fun to try at least one lipstick from Sleek. Their products, especially their eyeshadows are hoard-worthy!

Do you wear lipsticks based on the season? Share!
