Happy Tuesday! I hope you had a great weekend! I did because I spent it with my family. Spending time with family is very important to me. I love seeing my aunts, uncles and cousins and having a good time with them. We love doing video karaoke, or just chit-chatting about life.

I am not sure if you have observed but I now post twice a week compared to thrice before. It actually made my time more manageable and I don’t feel more stressed keeping up with my self-imposed schedule. I work full-time every weekday so my only free time is during weekends. I usually take product shots, and sometimes compose drafts, but I usually finish my posts during weekdays, when I am free. So enough about that. Let’s now move on to my review. 🙂

I had an eyeshadow palette kick, and I lost count of how many palettes that I have bought for the last couple of months. I don’t regret buying each one including this wonderful palette from BH Cosmetics, the famous It’sJudyTime Eyeshadow Palette by one of my favorite YouTube Beauty Gurus, Judy of ItsJudyTime!

It’sJudyTime Eyeshadow Palette costs $20.00 but it is now on sale for $9.95! It is not available in the local counters here in the Philippines but there are online sellers that offer it for pre-order, and I got mine for only Php 595.00 from NYXWholesalePH. She sells it the cheapest! Other sellers sell it for almost Php 1000! What?! Also, it is now LIMITED EDITION! So better grab one now before it is gone!

Let’s now take a look at the swatches and how it performs…

It’s Judy Time eyeshadow palette is a collection of 12 eyeshadows with neutrals to jewel tones of blue and purple which features satin, shimmer and matte finish eyeshadows. It is actually an all-in-one palette because it can create both day time and night-time looks!

The packaging is cardboard, and light, and it has a magnetic closure so it will not easily open inside your purse. It has a decent size mirror that is perfect for travelling.

From Left to Right: Cream Matte White, Soft Matte Brown, Satin Gold, Brown with Red Undertone, Matte Deep/Chocolate Brown, & Satin Brown with specks of Gold.

The top eyeshadows swatched above are matte and satin finishes. I usually wear them as transition and highlight shades but they can also be perfect as lid colors. The first two colors look very light on my swatch, but they apply better and show up more pigmented on my eyes.

From Left to Right: Rose Gold, Bronze, Soft Black with Burgundy specks, Shimmery Purple, Bluish Purple, & Sparkly Royal Blue.

The second row is my favorite in terms of pigmentation even with just one layer! The purples and blue shades are really perfect for pops of colors, and for night-time looks.

The pigmentation varies but overall, they are great! The lighter colors needs to be layered but the darker ones are incredible! Each shade works wonderfully on my eyes.

The texture of each eyeshadow is smooth, but not as smooth as Urban Decay’s. The matte ones are a bit powdery but they still blend nicely.

I have two eyeshadow looks below. The first one is more day time appropriate because I used the bronze, gold, and brown shades.

Its Judy Time Palette Eyeshadows 1

I applied the Soft Matte Brown on the crease as a transition shade and blended it nicely! I then patted the Bronze shade all over my lids. I applied the Cream Matte White over my brow bone for highlight. I intensified the outer corners using the Matte Deep/Chocolate Brown. I also used the Matte Deep/Chocolate Brown under the outer half of my eyes, and Bronze shade on the inner corners to the center part of my under eyes. I added black eyeliner and a black mascara to finish the look.

The next look is more for night-time because I did a smoky eye look, but in reality, I wore this in the office, because I don’t really care if it is appropriate or not. Hihihi!

Its Judy Time Palette Eyeshadows 2

I used a dark primer + shadow here to intensify the eyeshadows. I applied the Soft Matte Brown on the crease as a transition shade and blended it. I then patted the Soft Black with Burgundy specks shade all over my lids. I applied the Cream Matte White over my brow bone for highlight. I also used the Soft Black with Burgundy specks under the outer half of my eyes, and added shimmers on the inner corners to the center part of my under eyes. I added black eyeliner and a black mascara to finish the look.

I usually wear primers under my eyeshadows so the eyeshadows stay longer on my oily eyelids. I do think that this will stay on for a long time with or without primer.

For Php 595, I do think that this eyeshadow palette is a great affordable find! It’s very versatile and the quality of the product is superb. I really recommend you to get it before it gets phased out!

BONUS: The palette is not tested on animals. 🙂

Let me know if you want more looks with this palette! I think I got everything covered. If you have questions, feel free to comment below or contact me through my social sites below.
