Happy Mo(u)nda(ne)y!

The weekend passed by so quickly, it’s crazy! I hope you had a great weekend. All I can remember is that I bought a lot of stuff, but it’s more of clothes and little stuff. I also saw “Dracula, Untold”. It’s a great one. You should watch it if you still can.

Anyway, today’s post has been long overdue. I got this Urban Decay REVOLUTION  Lipstick in Naked months ago, and I haven’t had the time to review it. I buy a lot of stuff and I can’t keep up. I know you junkies, know how it feels! 😛

What it is:

Creamy, badass luxury. Our Pigment Infusion System™ delivers insane color payoff with creamy shine, Maxi-Lip™ plumps and nourishing oils leave lips cushiony soft. Get the color you crave. Addictive to apply (and even more addictive to wear), this creamy formula glides on without dragging or skipping, hugs every curve and gives you a BIG laydown of color. And with shades that range from gorgeous nudes to bold brights, there’s something for everyone.

Our Pigment Infusion System™ gives Revolution Lipstick its super creamy texture, insane pigmentation, superior color dispersion and extended wear. Maxi-Lip™ defines and hydrates lips while making them look plumper and fuller. And a nourishing blend of jojoba oil, avocado oil, cocoa butter and shea butter keeps lips super moisturized and cushiony soft.

Our luxe, custom-designed gunmetal tube (lined in dark purple) features organically shaped facets that practically beg to be touched. You’ll want to keep pulling it out of your bag—whether it’s time to reapply or not.

Packaging alone sold me! OMG, it looks so gorgeous, and classy! It is very unique, and sturdy. It’s like stainless steel, and feels a bit heavy. You will really feel secure that your lipstick is very much protected. Lol! The cap slides off before it totally opens, and it is not loose.

You will get 0.09 oz of product in here compared to MAC’s .1 oz. The picture shows only half of the bullet.
Urban Decay Revolution Lipsticks Swatches and Comparison

The Naked shade is a pinky-nude. Temptalia described it as a warm, medium pink with a luminous sheen. It had mostly opaque color, and it wore well for four hours. For a creamy lipstick, four hours is great. It is comfortable to wear on my lips, and I would like to note that it is also vegan, and there’s a subtle to no scent at all.

The shade is a lighter MLBB (My Lips but Better) shade, but it doesn’t wash me out. It emphasized some of my lip lines because of the shade, but deeper shades, I guess would look way better on me. I am eyeing Catfight and Venom, if I’ll get more shades. We’ll see. 🙂

The lipstick glides easily and smoothly with very rich pigmentation with one layer. You can definitely layer a few times but one layer is enough for me. It is also suggested to put a lip liner or primer to avoid feathering. With this shade, I don’t think I have to worry about it going out of my lip lines.

I bought this lipstick from SumWearCo.com for Php 1,290.00, but it retails for 22 USD.

I hope I got everything covered. If you have questions, just drop ’em on the comments section below.

Do you have any Revolution lipsticks? If not, which shades would you like to try?

Have a great week ahead!
