Happy Wednesday! I am glad to be back with another post. I had a wonderful long weekend spent with family, and I really appreciate having that break. I was totally worry-free. I am still online all the time using my iPad but that’s it. I did not care much about other stuff like having entirely no post for this week. But, I still won’t let a week pass without anything! I love to keep up with my blog, and even if only a few reads it, I am still very thankful. Hehe.

Anyway, today’s post is so late but I still want to share my thoughts about the BDJ Box for September 2014. I am still super excited when I receive my box. I also got super excited when I learned that the theme was “Beauty Innovations”. I love trying out new things that’s why I am still subscribed, right? So, let’s begin!

This box is filled and is bigger than the usual box. I hope that they continue to give us the same box moving forward. I bet all subscribers will agree with me. *wink*

FS Cosmetics in Olive Tree

As a beauty junkie, what else can excite me more than getting more makeup! Hehe. These products are from a local brand, FS Cosmetics. FS Single Eyeshadow costs Php 150 a pieceI already have a bunch of these, so I know that I will equally love it. I got the shade “Olive Tree”. So glad that I don’t have this color yet! I swatched it and it is so pretty! It can be an everyday neutral shade.

I also love that they included the FS Cosmetics Long-wear Gel Eyeliner in Brown, Php 299, because my LA Girl one is nearly drying up, so this is my backup! I am excited to try it.

The Dove Intense Repair Daily Hair Vitamin, 6 ml x 6 capsules, Php 75, were the next best picks for me. I love applying hair serums on my hair after I air-dry it or after I applied heat. Using this made my hair so soft, but not oily. I think my hair easily absorbs it. One capsule has too much product it in though, so it’s better to use just half each time.

Cream Silk Hair Conditioners

Of course, the classic Cream Silk Conditioners are next on my list. Each one costs Php 134. They have the Vita-boost Complex that deeply penetrates the hair strand to nourish it from within. I like Cream Silk Conditioners because they can be paired with any shampoo.

Pond's Dewy Gel

Next best items are the Pond’s Dewy Rose Gel, Php 150. I received two of this product. I haven’t tried it yet, but I am looking forward to it! I am being very serious on my skin care routine because I am already turning 30 in a few months! :-O So, my skin needs all the help that it can get. I religiously cleanse, tone, and moisturize, plus I have some few dark spots that I want to treat. This product promises to lighten them and smoothen my pores, so I am hopeful to get those benefits, and have a rosy glow!

Godiva Facial Cleanser and Toner

I have experienced good results using the Godiva Licorice Whitening Deodorant, so I am pretty sure that these two products will work great too. The Godiva Licorice Whitening Facial Wash, 50 ml, Php 85, promises to gently cleanse the face and leave it softer and smoother. The Godiva Licorice Whitening Toner, 60 ml, Php 60, promises a whiter skin and even skin tone, plus get rid of stubborn makeup.

Jergens Lotions

Jergens is one of the oldest lotion brands that I have known. I remembered back when I was so young, my grandma always keeps a big bottle with pump on top of her dresser. Jergens lotion is really moisturizing, plus the scent is subtle. I think I need to moisturize more often because I am so darn lazy to do it! Tsk.

Beach Hut Sunscreen

I am really not big on sunscreen but I want to change that! I don’t really go out under the sun, because I am mostly asleep during the day, but I understand that UV rays are everywhere. This Beach Hut Clear Spray, 180 ml, Php 390, is very convenient especially because I won’t have to use my hands to lather. I can simply spray everywhere to keep me UV protected. SPF 36 is a bit low if I will be under the sun for a longer time, but it’s still better than no SPF, right? I will probably bring this on my next trip this November! 🙂

PAC Free Makeover

Lastly, we have a PAC Free Makeover worth Php 1,500! I wished that it’s a voucher of free makeup instead. Lol! I have tried PAC eyeliners, and they are richly pigmented. I haven’t explored more on their products yet so I am not sure how this makeover will turn out. I might as well share this to one of my relatives. 🙂

Those are everything that is inside my box. A lot of these items are very useful to me, but frankly, the items did not excite me that much the first time that I opened my box. I am expecting more since the other two previous boxes were filled with similar types of items too. Hopefully, there will be more beauty products on the next box, and NEW BRANDS!
