New Brand Alert: Heroine Make – So Japanese!

IMG_0382 (1)

Being a beauty lover, I get so excited when new products are released in the market, especially if they are from brands that are known for great quality products. Recently, Heroine Make, a new Japanese brand, launched here in the Philippines, and it was an honor to be invited by Liz of Project Vanity to attend the live makeup demo of Japanese Makeup artist, Ms. Sayuri Igarashi at the SM Beauty section of Mall of Asia.

Heroine Make has been turning women into princesses since 2005, when it launched a revolutionary range of eye makeup in Japan. Since then, the brand has become a familiar sight to shoppers in Hong Kong and Singapore, where the lush romantic packaging fills the shelves in Sasa, Bon-jour, and drugstores. Now, as Heroine Make gains popularity across Asia, it’s turning its wide manga eyes towards the Philippines by bringing top of the line products to the shores of Manila and beyond!

I first knew of this brand from my BDJ Box Elite Box last July, but have only used the sunscreen from the bunch of products. It was a delight to see the products used in action, and to know more about the benefits, and how to apply them. Today’s post is picture heavy because I took a lot of photos while Ms. Sayuri demos the products. Hope you enjoy reading, and let me know your thoughts!

Ms. Sayuri came and readied all the products that she will use for the demo. While waiting she already prepped the model’s skin before applying the makeup!

No other model is best suited for this brand other than Tellie of Beauty by Tellie! (Hi, Tellie!)

While waiting for the program to start, I met my favorite bloggers, Donnarence & Dawn! (a picture is a must! hehe!)

I also had the chance to pose with the beautiful princess. I should have worn a gown too. Le sigh 😛

Ms. Sayuri is very warm, and jolly. She didn’t hesitate when I asked her to take a picture with me! :”)

Here’s a before photo of our model, Tellie, with Ms. Sayuri.

Liz introduced Ms. Sayuri to us, and welcomed her on stage before the demo started.

The first makeup product the she applied was the Heroine Make Lasting Mineral BB Cream. What’s unique about this BB Cream is that it has a sebum absorber so there’s no need to set it with powder if you don’t have an oily skin. If you’re oily, you can set it on the T-zone area.

The eyeshadow palettes are not yet available here, but she applied some pink, grey, and glittery shades on her eyes.

Ms. Sayuri was showing the three variants of eyeliner available here. She said that they are extremely waterproof. The best part is that the purple one has 0.1 MM point that helps to apply the eyeliner as thin as possible near the eyelashes for a more natural look.

There are also three variants of mascara available. The one she used here has a unique wand, where the product fills up the top and then you will brush it using the other side of the wand. It’s an interesting mascara, and I can’t wait to try it!

The result was phenomenal! It’s as if Tellie has false lashes on the right. Ms. Sayuri didn’t even curl her lashes!

I have never seen someone who can fix eyebrows in seconds! Ms. Sayuri effortlessly did it! I was amazed!

Lipsticks are yet to be released here, so we’ll have to wait for those.

Ms. Sayuri applied a pink blush for pop of color on the cheeks.

The “after” photo. It is indeed a natural, glowy, and youthful look!

We were given three products to try: the mascara, eyebrow liner and BB Cream! Will review them soon here! 🙂

I forgot to tell you that I came from work that morning, had Korean buffet during lunch, and went to MOA in the afternoon. My day was pretty intense, but I feel so happy that day. I would love to attend more events, and hopefully get to know more brands in the future.

If you made it until the end, congratulations! Hehe. I hope you are having a great day, and may you have a great weekend! Until next time!
