Product Empties & Mini Reviews #4

Product Empties Header

This is the part two of my product empties featuring bath products. It is a great achievement for me to use up tubes and bottles of these. I tend to buy and store new products even if I currently own the same type, let’s say a facial wash or a shampoo. I love having different choices because I love discovering what the new products can do for me. I am very picky when it comes to shampoo. I hate it when my hair gets super oily, and sticky. Sometimes, some shampoos also cause build up and make my scalp itch like crazy! I think I am also easily swayed to buy by TV or AD commercials, (and BLOGS!) that’s why I tend to accumulate much. Anyhow, let’s now talk about my bath product empties!

One thing I just noticed is that three of these facial washes are Korean brands. I think the reasons why I go for Korean brands are: they smell good, most products does not contain harmful chemicals, they come in big tubes, or bottles for a good price which makes it affordable, and they work for me.

The The Body Shop Tea Tree Cool & Creamy Wash is my favorite from the four above. It actually helped my skin to get rid of blemishes especially when it’s the time of the month, and the pimples are coming out. It does not dry my skin, and it is very cooling on my face. Be careful not to apply it on the eye area though because it will sting.

Next, E’thym O2 Water Detox Cleansing Foam. I learned that this is already discontinued (?!) I am not 100% sure though, but this product is my next favorite facial wash. It is very mild, it does not have an overpowering scent and it does not leave my face feeling dry. It took me a long time to finish it up because of its size!

The Happy Tea Time Green Tea Cleansing Foam from Etude House is a favorite too because the scent is so relaxing. I feel like it really did a great job on cleansing my face, but it is a bit drying, if I recall correctly. It also took me a long time to finish this tube because a little product can cover the whole face. This is a very affordable facial wash, if you ask me.

The Nivea Visage Pore Minimizing Whitening Acne Oil Control Foam is a repurchase, but I have observed that this is too scented. After trying out different facial washes, I much prefer the mildly scented ones. This facial wash cleans my face well, but I can’t really tell if it minimized my pores, or helped with oil control. I always have oily T-zone whatever brand I use, and I have already accepted that as a fact.

The Clear Anti-Dandruff Shampoo Dry Scalp & Itch Control works well for me. I do not use this everyday, but only when my scalp itches like crazy! It really helps to get rid of buildup and it soothes my scalp. I can’t live without this product. I think it’s always a must to have an anti-dandruff shampoo in the shower for its purpose.

I generally like Pantene Pro-V Shampoos and Conditioners. Using this Total Damage Care variant did not dramatically transform my hair to its original form, but I feel like it kept my hair smooth and clean. I wouldn’t really repurchase this, because I am still looking for a brand that will take care of my colored hair more.

The Human Heart Nature 100% Natural Clarifying Shampoo is a great affordable clarifying shampoo. It really helped in removing excess oil and scalp buildup plus it is made of natural ingredients.

I always want to keep “down there” clean, and smelling fresh, that is why I always use a feminine wash. Of all the brands I have tried, Saforelle and PH Care are my faves. I am disappointed that the Human Heart Nature Natural Feminine Wash caused itchiness that’s why I discontinued using it.

The last items on my empties list are the The Body Shop Strawberry Shower Gel, and Godiva LicoWhite Whitening Anti-Perspirant Deodorant. I love most of the The Body Shop Shower Gels because they smell so good, and it does not dry my skin after bath. My most favorite scent is the Shea Butter!

I have found the best underarm product that works for me, and it is the Godiva LicoWhite Whitening Anti-Perspirant Deodorant. It made my underarm skin soft and smooth, and it lightened the dark areas. I shave my pits that why it is not baby butt smooth, but I don’t really mind that much because I rarely wear clothes that show my pits. If I look at my pits, the skin color is evened out. So I am going to use this as long as there’s something better than this. I am already in my second or third bottle!

So those are all my bath products empties! I am still accumulating a lot of empties to date. I hope you enjoyed reading my mini reviews. If you have any comments, suggestions or recommendations, do let me know!

Have a happy rainy day! 🙂
