BDJ Box for June 2014 Unboxing: Benefit Cosmetics (Part 2!)

BDJ Header
Hashtag, late post! Hehe.

Unboxing a BDJ Box has been so therapeutic to me. I always feel my energy spike up because I am always eager to know what I will get. I have been a subscriber for more than a year already, and so far, so good! There were some boxes that did not exceed my high expectations, but majority did, so I am not going to give this box up yet! *wink*

BDJ Stickers

When I opened my June box, I felt kind of disappointed because I thought I will be getting the same deluxe samples that I already got from the March BDJ Box, but in fairness to this box, it contains three samples that I haven’t tried yet. How I wish that Benefit Cosmetics products are a little less expensive so that I can buy as many products as I want. Hehe. Let’s now move on to the contents of this box.

BDJ All Items

How I wish that there’s some full size products, but at least, the samples are still good enough for several uses. I am so happy to get my favorite mascara, the They’re Real! It is the best one that I have tried so far.

BDJ Items 2

The top three products for me are the following:

The Benefit Cosmetics Big Easy (35mlPhp 2,000) is said to be “Bigger that Ordinary BB’s”. It promises to balance moisture, and control oil. It is a cream to powder finish, and it self-adjusts to even out skintone and conceal imperfections. I have tried this already and it really evened out my skin, and controlled my oily T-zone longer than most BB creams that I’ve tried but, I did not experience a magical difference for me to buy the full size.

Next, the Benefit Cosmetics Fake Up Concealer (3.5gPhp 1,600) is a crease-control concealer to hide dark circles, and diffuse fine lines. I am glad that I got a sample of this because I am not a fan. It feels oily under my eyes, and if not set, will just disappear to oblivion. It may work to those with super dry under eyes. Still worth a shot.

Benefit Lollitint, 12.5ml, Php 1,700, was one of the products that got me curious because I think it won’t look good on my skin tone. I was wrong! It is not a dead-on purple, but a pinky- purple shade. It looks great even on my medium yellow skin tone. It’s great that I got a sample because I am pretty sure that I won’t be able to use up the full size bottle. I like using powder blushes more than cream or liquid.

BDJ Items 1

These products are already repeats from the March BDJ Box.

The POREfessional PRO Balm, sample size, 3ml (Full Size is 22ml, Php 1,600) works in controlling my oil, and blurring my pores.

The Benetint, sample size, 2.5ml (Full Size is 12.5ml, Php 1,700) gives a very pretty flush! Looks so natural, and long-lasting!

The Hello Flawless Oxygen Wow Brightening Makeup, sample size, (Full Size is 30ml, Php 1,900) is a lightweight, medium to full coverage liquid makeup. It gives a dewy to semi-matte finish. Needs to be set with powder for combo to oily skinned girls or else, it will slide off.

The Benefit They’re Real Mascara, sample size,  (Full Size is 22ml, Php 1,600) 0.3oz, Php 1,300) (reviewed here!)  curls, lengthens, volumizes, is waterproof, and easy to remove!

BDJ Vouchers

Two vouchers were also included inside the box. I will be giving the voucher away to my sister, Dre (SporadicReads.com), because she likes to have her brows shaped.

Overall, this box is another hit for me. If you visit the official Benefit Cosmetics website, these samples are being sold for about $8 to $10 dollars each. So if you will sum up the value of these samples, it will be about $50 (Php 2,000+). Totally worth it! 🙂

I am so excited to know what the July box contains! See you on my next unboxing! 🙂
