Unboxing Saladbox May 2014: Runway Ready!

This is my third box since I restarted my subscription to Saladbox. The first two boxes were hits because they featured two popular brands, Skin Food and Regatta. I actually paid the full amount of Php 500 for each boxes because I did not know that there was a promo of Php 333/3 boxes. I think they should have posted it clearly on their website. Anyway…

This month’s box theme is Runway Ready. It meant “sampling products that will make you look flawless up-close and while strutting your own personal runway!”. That said, I expected to get maybe skin care products to smoothed the skin, or maybe makeup products to enhance my features. Well, first of all, these shampoo and conditioner are no longer new to me. I have used them before, and I bet a lot of people too. I even got three boxes of these samples in a Watson’s Sale for FREE. I like TRESemme but I don’t really expect to get these items in the Saladbox (and pay Php 500), when I can get them for free. :'(

Look how small this is! This Dentiste’ toothpaste is also not new to me. It had been in the market ever since! I have tried it, and I don’t remember if I liked it. This is good for travel, though. But… :'(

I am not fond of these Nail Polish Remover wipes because they are not as effective as using a cotton. I have to use several of these wipes because it is very thin, and it easily dries up even before I can remove all the nail polish on one finger. Again, this is ok for travel, though.

I love body sprays and perfumes in general. This perfume, I guess, is the best product inside the box however, the scent is very typical, and the smell does not last. Good thing that it came in a 100 ml bottle, at least I got one because some subscribers did not get it.

Overall, I don’t want to hate it, but oh well, that is the risk of subscribing to these boxes. It clearly did not meet my expectations as compared to the first two boxes that I got. As of late, I already cancelled my subscription with them. I just don’t feel the consistency of their service. I am not expecting A LOT, but it just doesn’t compare to the other subscription boxes out there.
