My First Ever Sigma Brush!

DRUMROLL PLEASE…Haha!

Yeah, I bought my first Sigma brush from the ever tempting online site called Luxola. If you haven’t known yet, Luxola is an online shop in Singapore that carries a lot of beauty brands that are both drugstore and high end. It always goes on SALE, so what can a girl do, but shop! Oh, I need to mention again that you will get FREE SHIPPING ON ANY ORDER OVER PHP 1,300, delivered AT YOUR DOORSTEP! I can’t stop myself from browsing on this site everytime it goes on SALE. I really just can’t! Ok, enough about this site, let us now move on to the highlight of this post.

So, I got this Sigma Small Contour – F05 brush just because I need it in my life! I keep letting it pass until it became out of stock. Imagine my excitement when they emailed me that it went back on stock! I knew that I just can’t let it go (let it gooo…) that time.

If you remember from my previous Luxola haul that I also bought a contour brush. Do I need more? NO! I am such a weakling in controlling my purchases. DON’T JUDGE! But I don’t regret buying this baby. Let me tell you why…

The bristles of this brush are SO SOFT! It is now making sense that a lot of beauty youtubers swear by this brand. I was so impressed the first time it touched my face. My heart shouted with joy! Haha. I have used this brush several times now, and it never shed. The brush is not flat, as you can see from above, it makes blending very easy. The bristles are not so dense so it will not make the product harsh when applied.

The size is perfect for contour. I think if you want that sharp contour, you won’t like this brush. It is best to use this for all over contouring. I don’t really like a sharp contour that is why I appreciate this brush so much.

I don’t just recommend this for contour but also for applying blush and highlighter. It works! I really like that it is multi-purpose especially if I want to bring it along when I travel.

Let’s compare this brush to the Real Techniques Contour Brush.

The Sigma Small Contour – F05 brush is longer, and a bit thinner than the Real Techniques Contour Brush. The bristles are obviously different in shape because Real Techniques is more tapered and round.

The Real Techniques Contour Brush can be used for sharper contouring because of its almost pointed tip. Sigma, again, is best for all over contouring.

They almost have the same length of the bristles. I love that they serve different purposes for me, so they are not really duplicate. Yay!

So there you have it! I hope you enjoyed my brush review. I am still contemplating if I will get more Sigma brushes. For sure, a lot of you have tried it. What are your favorites? Do you love Sigma brushes? Let me know! I love to know your thoughts about these brushes.

I really missed blogging, and you, guys! Until my next post! Mwah!signature
