First Look | Garnier Light Complete Multi-action Whitening Cream

image
I got the Garnier Light Complete Multi-action Whitening Cream inside my May BDJBox. This 20ml tube costs Php75. I have never used this product before and I am excited to try it. I have been skin care crazy lately, and I regret that I did not start young. I already have dark under eye circles that only a good concealer can hide. But I am not complaining, because I generally have good skin. I rarely have pimples and some problems I have include oiliness, and enlarged pores, but still, no biggie.
Anyway, let us go to my first impression of this product. I can’t say this is a review because I haven’t used it for a long time to give a good opinion about it.
What it says:
Garnier Light Complete is a multi-action whitening cream that acts on dullness, dark spots, excess oil and acne marks. It makes your skin visibly fairer while leaving it perfectly clarified.”

*Enriched with pure lemon essence, known for its exfoliating properties, it helps remove dullness and visibly lightens acne marks.
*Enriched with derivative salicylic acid with anti-bacterial properties, its oil-trapping formula visibly reduces excess oil and shine for a 6 hour shine-free look .

Its ultra-light texture is non greasy and absorbs quickly into the skin for an all day comfort and shine-free feeling.
So this is what the product looks like:

It has a creamy, and sort of thick consistency. It is slightly hard to blend. It does have a scent to it. It is the usual Garnier scent, if you have already used their products. You already know what I mean. 🙂

It looks white on the skin when blended, but it didn’t really stay white. You’ll see on the next pictures.

“Hello, bare face!”

No Shine! No White Cast! 🙂

Don’t laugh at my bare face! 😛

Initial application is great! It really mattified my face. One thing to note is that you have to blend fast because it dries quickly.
How long did the shine-free last?

Uh-oh! It only lasted three hours on me. You can see that oil started to show on and around my nose area. I have a combination skin, so I really need a stronger oil-control product to keep my oilies at bay.
Garnier says it can be used as a makeup base too, but I haven’t tested it yet with my foundation.
So that ends my first impression on this product. Hope you find it helpful, and watch out for my next blog entries!
Stay Gorgeous!
